Green Team
The Oppe Green Team, comprised of 4th Grade students, represent the school in effort to help the campus promote healthy and safe environmental practices at school and in the community. Together, the students help with the school recycling program and plan new ways to incorporate good environmental habits throughout the campus.
The Green Team also sponsors a Fall and Spring Galveston beach Cleanups in conjunction with the Texas Land Office Adopt-A-Beach Cleanups. Oppe is the proud sponsor of a one mile stretch of Galveston beach from 61st street to 45th street.
